I’m not a big fan of Twitter. The whole concept is so ridiculous.

Yesterday I decided to capture a few moments that I might have been tempted to tweet.

“I’m eating lunch at the Modern Diner.”

“I just bought some Q-Tips.”

“Dandelions are all over my yard.”

“This woman is taking forever to cross the street!”

Gosh, wasn’t that thrilling?

Color me old-fashioned; I just don’t get it.

Listening to NPR last week, I heard this gem in an interview -

“We’re looking for someone to collaborate and work together.”

Well, I just had to find the dictionary definition for collaborate –

To work together, especially in a joint intellectual effort.

I shouldn’t be amused at this, as I’m sure my tongue would be totally twisted if I were being interviewed on a national radio program.
